Breaking News today announced the acquisition of SalonAddict, making them the leading salon marketing & booking website in Ireland and giving them a significant UK presence. also announced 14 new jobs in addition to the acquisition. has 1,500 salons signed to date in Ireland and the UK including Waxperts, Zeba Hairdressing, Joseph Kramer Group, Kazumi and Hugh Campbell Group. Like JustEat, BEUTiFi is a platform that allows consumers to discover the best salons, read reviews and to book appointments online in real time through its website. The salon booking site will facilitate approximately €10m in booking revenue in 2016 through its platform.

This means will have one of the largest customer bases in Ireland and the UK and positions on it’s way to becoming a major player in the €100 billion global salon market.

The salon booking industry has seen a massive growth in the last number of years with a 22% growth in google searches for hair and beauty related services in 2015.
